Hi, I'm Tara Vogel. I'm a parenting astrologer and mom of three.
I was introduced to astrology in 2010 when I had a reading for my daughter, Eva, who had been struggling and had many challenges since her birth.
That first astrology reading changed our lives. I started to feel something I had rarely felt since my parenting journey with her began — peace.
I realized that she was living the life her soul intended to live, and as her mom, all I needed to do was support her on her path. That fateful astrology reading gave me the tools to do that.
This inspired me to share astrology's wisdom with other parents, and now I'm excited to teach you how you can do the same.

About Your Teacher
I'm an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed coach and certified astrologer. My background as an elementary teacher, natural parenting educator, and mom has equipped me to help other moms stay connected to their kids and themselves through the cosmos. I believe that understanding your astrological natal chart and your child's natal chart is one of the greatest tools for better understanding ourselves and our children.
I believe in a holistic approach to living and integrate my knowledge of holistic living, the Polyvagal theory of the nervous system, and the IFS method of psychotherapy into my astrology sessions. As a mom of three, I've found that having my middle daughter's natal chart read as a young child helped me navigate the uncharted waters of raising a neurodivergent child. I wholeheartedly believe that understanding your whole family's astrological birth charts can bring more peace, harmony, and compassion to your daily life with kids.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this course right for?
A: This course was designed for practicing astrologers, including new astrologers who want to learn more about reading children's charts and giving readings to parents.
Before registering, you should know the basic building blocks of astrology — specifically the elements, signs, and planets.
Q: What if I don't want to give readings?
A: While this class was designed to give you a framework and understanding of how to provide readings to parents, it will also help you understand more about astrology, your chart, and your kids' charts. If you want to go deeper with your astrology wisdom, this will still be a good fit for you!
Q: What if I don't know much about astrology? OR What if I already know a lot about astrology?
A: If you know the elements, signs, houses, and planets, you're in the right place! This is NOT a beginners' astrology class, so if you're still learning the basics, it's best to sit this one out.
If you feel like you have a strong foundation in astrology, I encourage you to jump in with an open mind. There are subtle differences between how a child embodies their chart vs. how an adult has grown into it.
Q: How exactly does this program work?
A: On the first day of class (January 23 — click here to see the full class schedule), you'll be invited to join a ZOOM meeting with Tara and your fellow classmates. You'll hear the material taught live, and will have the opportunity to ask questions. And if you're unable to attend live, all of the sessions will be recorded and you'll have access to watch them in your own time!
You'll also be invited to a private website that houses the class recordings, PDF handouts, and any other material you need to get the most out of the course.
Q: Do I have to be online at any specific time?
A: This course includes live sessions (see the full schedule below), but if you're not able to be there live, all of the sessions will be recorded and you'll have access to watch them in your own time!
Q: How much time will this take every week?
A: Plan for each live class to take about two hours, whether you're there live or watching the replay later.
